Compassionate Divorce is proud to welcome Dr. Kristine Bartlett to its team.
Dr. Bartlett is a licensed psychologist in both California and Tennessee who brings over a decade of experience assisting families with divorce and child custody matters, and has worked extensively as a private child custody evaluator, parent coordinator, psychotherapist, and mediator in Sonoma County since 2010.
With her deep understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges of divorce, Dr. Bartlett will help ensure that separating spouses and their children feel supported as they navigate separation, financial decisions, and co-parenting agreements.
“My goal is to have both parties feel heard as they navigate the many choices related to separation, finances, and co-parenting. I am pleased to be part of a process that works to preserve the co-parenting relationship while supporting our clients as they make the challenging decisions related to separation and divorce,” said Dr. Bartlett.
Dr. Bartlett’s expertise only improves on Compassionate Divorce’s ability to prioritize emotionally healthy and solutions-focused outcomes for families in transition.
“Years of clinical experience and expertise allow Dr. Bartlett to understand the complex dynamics that often exist in separating families, which is shown by her ability to offer remarkable insight and put words to difficult feelings and situations that help our clients move forward and reach agreements,” said co-founder and licensed psychologist, Jeff Kahn, Ph.D.
“Dr. Bartlett brings a practical, structured approach to our mediation with a warmth and kindness that cannot be overstated, and has expressed many times how much she enjoys the opportunity to work with families in this creative, supportive, and positive process,” said co-founder and certified family law specialist, Joann Campoy.
